Mata Ward Member of County Assembly, Chanzu Khamadi is in hospital after surviving a grisly road accident that claimed his side chick’s life.
Chanzu Khamadi was involved in a road accident in Murka area near Tsavo West National Park on Tuesday, 8, January 2022.
Khamadi was driving from Taveta along the Voi-Taveta-Holili highway when his Prado hit a giraffe that was crossing the road abruptly.
The Prado was skidded off the road rolling several meters in the bush away from the giraffe.
Chanzu Khamadi’s side chick was in the same car as Khamadi during the fatal accident and died on impact. Her name was Ann.
