Diamond Platnumz moved into his mega mansion in Dar es Salaam two years after he bought Zari a house in Johannesburg.
The Bongo singer bought the mansion in South Africa in 2016 so that Zari could move out of a house in Pretoria which belonged to her ex husband Ivan Ssemwanga.
It was reported that Diamond bought the Johannesburg house for $176,510.
In a November 2020 interview with Wasafi TV, Zari revealed that she moved out of the house Diamond bought her and that she was renting it.
“Na ile nyumba kabisa Baba T mimi hajawai kuniambia mimi toka kwa nyumba. Ata kama ameenda interview kusema ntawatoa kwa nyumba and what, but he’s personally never hajawai kuniambi yeye toka kwenye nyumba. Ata sahi he knows am renting the house and am taking rent money. Hajawai kuniuliza ata siku moja pesa zenye zinatoka pale unaweka wapi. Because ile nyumba kabisa he bought it for the kids. It is the only property they have in South Africa under his name,” said Zari Hassan.
Zari moved out of Diamond’s house after getting married to her mysterious sweetheart King Bae (their marriage hit rock bottoem).
King Bae bought Zari a big mansion in Pretoria before they secretly got married in a civil wedding on Nelson Mandela day July 18th 2019.

Diamond Platnumz relocated from his Madale home in 2018 and moved into a Tsh2 billion/Ksh99 million mega mansion in Mbezi beach.
The Bongo singer built his Madale home from scratch and stayed there in the same compound with his mother until 2018.
Madale is not a wealth suburb and this explains why Diamond decided to relocate to the affluent Dar es Salaam district of Mbezi beach.
The singer moved into a 5-bedroom palatial mansion that costs a whopping Tsh2 billion or Ksh 99,354,004 million.
