Pastor Ng’ang’a’s Marriage Drama: 700 Women Walked Out Of Church After I Introduced My New Wife

Neno Evangelism’s outspoken leader, Pastor James Ng’ang’a, is no stranger to controversy, but his latest confession has social media buzzing.

In a recent Facebook video, the pastor revealed a jaw-dropping story about how hundreds of women left his church when he introduced his new wife after being widowed.

Ng’ang’a, who remarried on June 30, 2012, after losing his first wife, said that over 700 women, including some long-time members of his ministry, stormed out in protest.

Apparently, many of these women had hopes that they would be the lucky lady to become Mrs. Ng’ang’a. Spoiler alert: they weren’t.

“When I unveiled my wife during a service, all hell broke loose,” Ng’ang’a said. “You won’t believe it, but 700 women, including female ushers, got up and left. They had expectations that I would marry one of them, but I chose the woman I loved.”

According to Ng’ang’a, the backlash was fierce, with many women feeling betrayed.

Some, it seems, had spent years serving in his ministry, perhaps hoping their loyalty would secure them a place in the pastor’s heart. Instead, they watched as he introduced someone else.

The fiery preacher, known for his direct and no-nonsense style, admitted that it was a tough moment for the church.

“It was a big blow to the congregation,” he added. “But I stood firm and told them she was mine, not God’s, and if they didn’t like it, they could leave.”

Ng’ang’a’s decision to remarry after being a widower didn’t sit well with some of his congregants either.

He even hinted that critics thought his new bride was too young for him. But the preacher isn’t bothered by the naysayers.

“They called her a child, but I didn’t care,” he said. “I love her, and that’s what matters.”

While Pastor Ng’ang’a’s love life clearly sent shockwaves through his church, he remains unapologetic about following his heart—even if it meant losing nearly half his congregation in the process.
