Kiss FM has hired comedian Sande Bush Popularly known as Dr. Ofweneke to replace Jalang’o who is quitting to contest for Langata parliamentary seat.
Jalang’o announced that he will quit his job on February 9th so that he can intensify his campaign for the Langata parliamentary seat.
Jalango’s move to quit his job is in line with Media Council rules that require a journalist vying for a political seat to resign six months to the election date.
Jalango’s replacement Dr Ofweneke was inducted to his new job on Tuesday January 25th. Kamene Goro and Jalas hosted the morning drive show together with Ofweneke.

Ofweneke had earlier on announced that he will co-host the morning show with Kamene and Jalang’o until Friday January 28th.

The comedian also expressed his joy on being hired to replace Jalang’o at Kiss FM. He said God had blessed him with something better.
“Every time I thought I took a loss, God blessed me with something better,” Ofweneke wrote.
