Nyako is the new madam boss and she’s still bitter that Jalang’o said she can only advertise condoms.
Nyako has proclaimed herself as the new “Madam Boss” in town. Known for her straightforward and candid remarks, Nyako didn’t mince words as she shared her perspective on the current state of Kenyan celebrities and her own standing in the entertainment scene.
The mother of three confidently stated that she currently holds the title of the most popular Kenyan celebrity. Nyako doubled down on her previous stance, urging her followers to refrain from comparing her to other celebrities, including singer Akothee.
Nyako emphasized that her status as the reigning celebrity was a fact, and this time, she expanded her comparison to include Langata MP Felix Odiwuor.
“I have climbed the ladder of being a Kenyan celebrity, and even if there are people who still can’t accept it, Nyako is the only Luo woman who became a celebrity while abroad,” Nyako boldly asserted. She then turned her attention to Jalang’o, making it clear that she’s ready to take on the former radio host, comedian and now MP for Langata.
Nyako shared her intentions to ascend even higher on the entertainment ladder, making a vow to surpass Jalang’o. She expressed her determination to challenge Jalang’o, whom she claimed had belittled her in the past.
“Jalas, today let me address you. Allow me to sit you down. You may be up there, but I will come to overtake you when you least expect it. I was so humble, I just smiled. But that guy undermined me. He slowly pushed me aside and put me in a corner.
“Watch this space. We’ll give you another four years, and we’ll come with our votes. You belittled me, Jalas, but I am coming for you. The war is loading, and I’ve been silent for too long,” she declared with confidence.
Nyako also claims that she had surpassed Akothee in terms of popularity, boldly claiming the title of the new “Madam Boss” in town. She stressed that wealth and material possessions aren’t the sole determinants of such a title.
According to Nyako, what truly matters is how celebrities impact society positively and bring hope and sanity to their fans and the wider community.
“I am even more popular than Madam Boss. I took over. I am the new Madam Boss in town. And I don’t own a big car or a mansion. You don’t necessarily need to have a lot of money to be in this position. People will judge you based on your behavior and what you bring to the table, things like that,” she explained.
