Ntazola Gloria Reveals Where She Left Poor Kanjo Askari After Locking Him In Her Car

“Nilimwambia sasa tumia pesa zako kurudi tao na ujifunze adabu,” Ntazola Gloria says.

Gloria Ntazola shared a story of her recent encounter with a city askari who entered her car allegedly to extort money. In a detailed account of the dramatic events, she explained the actions she took to assert her rights.

The incident began at Jevanjee Gardens around 3 pm on a Wednesday when Ntazola attempted to park her car. Four city askaris approached her vehicle, and two of them entered her car, insisting she had parked incorrectly.

Confused by the situation, Ntazola wondered what wrong she had committed, as she had paid for her parking.

However, one askari remained adamant that she was at fault.

Aware of her rights, Ntazola decided to challenge the situation, knowing that police or enforcement officers are not allowed to enter a motorist’s car without consent.

She says, “It’s against the law, and they know it, but normally in Kenya, they can just bully you, thinking that people don’t know their rights, so I couldn’t allow him to bully me.”

Ntazola locked the askari inside her car and proposed a unique solution. She offered to take him on a road trip since he seemed intent on wasting her time.

Ntazola GloriaNtazola Gloria drove to Kilimani, where she resides, and showed the officer her residence along State House Road before heading back to Museum Hill. She then made her way to Kitengela via the Nairobi Expressway, choosing this route to avoid traffic.

She explained, “I knew if we used the normal road, we would encounter a lot of traffic, so I thought, ‘I can just spend on this guy. I want to teach him a lesson. I was willing to go on a long trip with him, it’s just that it was very late. If it was early during the day, I would have taken him even farther because they have made it a habit.”

During the trip, Ntazola grew suspicious of the inspectorate officer, as he appeared to be making phone calls for backup. However, no backup arrived, and he did not signal for traffic police assistance.

Ntazola Gloria eventually left the askari in Kitengela, far from the city center, ensuring that he would have to find his way back at his own expense. She boldly stated, “I told him, ‘Now you have to spend your money to get back to town and learn courtesy.'”

She documented the entire encounter on her TikTok account, and the video quickly gained traction on various social media platforms. The video sparked widespread discussions among Kenyans, with the majority of people supporting Ntazola’s actions, affirming that she stood up for her rights as a motorist.
