Lillian Nganga has hit out at YouTuber Mwafreeka over comment he made about A&L hotel in Machakos which she co-owns with ex husband Alfred Mutua.
The A&L hotel, which derives its name from the former couple’s initials (Alfred and Lillian), officially opened on July 24th 2020, after being under construction for nearly five years.
The acclaimed hotel, which is the only five star hotel in Machakos, is located along the Machakos-Kitui Road and has several amenities including a restaurant, a bar and a garden. It would cost one an average of Ksh14,500 per night.
A&L Hotel has had a contentious ownership after Lillian and Alfred Mutua parted ways in August last year.
Lillian claimed to have conceived the idea of the hotel. This led to the birth of Ndash Enterprises, the company that owns the hotel, which was named after her.
At incorporation, Lillian is reported to have had a 100% stake in the hotel, but relinquished 50% of her shares to Mutua when both became personal guarantors for the hotel after receiving a loan facility upwards of Ksh145 million from a local commercial bank.
However, Mwafreeka on his YouTube podcast claimed that Lillian ‘sucked’ Alfred Mutua for him to build her the hotel.
The YouTuber’s comment was loaded with sexual innuendos that really irked Lillian Nganga who decided to hit back.
She slammed Mwafreeka whom she called a very shameless man and made it clear that she owns 50% stake at A&L hotel.
“Just came across this clip. Shameless men! Nobody gave me part of a hotel. The hotel is 50/50. A LTD company. Very sad if you are fathers to girls. Shame on you!” Lillian Nganga wrote.
