Legendary rapper Prezzo has denied claims that he got saved recently after visiting Reverend Lucy Natasha’s church.
Speaking in an interview, the artist said that he had just accompanied his mother to church
“Mimi niliamka kama binadamu mwingine, nikasema wacha niende nikamsindikiza mother kanisani. When people saw me in church they assumed Prezzo is born again,” he said.
Prezzo noted that he has always given his life to Christ just like everybody and that speculation about his recent salvation are not making sense to him.
“There is nowhere I said I am saved but then because I woke up and went to church the next thing I knew I was trending for being in church that is how big the brand is,” he said, adding that he is a versatile artist hence his decision to include a gospel song in his album.
“Even the gospel song I sang is in this album. As an artiste, you can’t confine yourself to a specific environment. I try to be versatile, in my album I have all types of genres, I have gospel, I have something for the club, for the ladies but I still go to church. Shout to my reverend Lucy Natasha” he stated.
Prezzo visited Natasha in late October and he took to social media to share about the experience, referring to the preacher as his spiritual mum.
“A Seed Of Today Is A Fruit Of Tomorrow. Y’all Stay Blessed,” he said.
Natasha on the other hand acknowledge Prezzo and his mother for visiting the church.
“You’re stepping into a Season of blessings that no one can stop!🔥Thank You Prezzo @prezzo254 for visiting Eccnairobi for Our Sunday Service With Your Mum.Let’s continue Making an Impact In Our Generation!” the preacher said
