Justina Syokau has narrated her encounter that has since seen her fear getting married again after partying ways with her ex-husband in 2013.
Speaking to Trudy Kitui, the 2020 hitmaker said that she went through a difficult time after delivering her son because of her ex-husband.
According to her, she would spend cold nights in the streets and this affected her health as well as that of her son.
“I have never gotten interest of getting married again. Hio yote mnaona ati nataka bwana inakuwanga ni kwasababu watu wananiuliza sana so nataka tu kuease it. I don’t have interest of getting married. I have never gotten interest of getting married again because of what I went through. I slept on the streets on Nairobi because of a man, outside, with my son for almost two weeks sleeping outside during the cold weather. So my kid…mpaka mwezi wa tano after kumzaa alikuwa na chest problems. Mimi niliozea kwa streets na ukumbuke umezaa na operation ile uchafu lazima itoke, hujapata soup, maji moto ya kukunywa so kuoza, nilikuwa natoka uzaha,” she said.
She added that she is afraid of the reception her son would get from her partner incase she remarries.
“I got a lot of frustrations , yes I was treated, I was fine I am okay my kid is okay now but I can not just allow myself to go through what I went through. I don’t fear getting into marriage I juts imagine myself getting into a marriage where my kid will not be loved where my kid will not be embraced,” she said.
The artist further revealed that her son has never met his dad and that he never takes care of him, even after dragging him to court.
Syokau was speaking while addressing her recent video where she was captured in tears as she begged for forgiveness from people whom she had wronged.

The gospel singer said that since insulting the individuals, life has been tough on her as she can’t get money or any job. On Pastor Ezekiel. Syokau insulted him for saying single mothers have no star for marriage.
“Ni ukweli alisema hatuna nyota ya ndoa lakini iliniuma hio ukweli na nikaongea vibaya kumhusu. Pastor Ezekiel naomba tu aki unisamehe since nikutusi sipatangi hata job, hata siitwi mahali kuimba. Hata kampuni zilikuwa zinanipea kazi haiznipei. Naomba tu mchungaji uniombee nyota ya kazi irudi. Nyota ya mziki iendelee kung’aa haing’ai sahi, hakuna kitu inaendelea,” the mother of one said in the video.
