Comedian Victor Naman tells Justina Syokau that he just wanted to hit it.
The two were acting in a skit to promote Justina Syokau’s 2023 hit single that she’s been vigorously promoting online and via radio interviews. Her slogan “Huu ni mwaka wa kupanuliwa” has since gone viral.
Although not so traditional, in the Gospel music jargon, Justina Syokau has managed to use to spread her message and music.
She says, the only metal she wants is a Mercedes or Lambo, and not a man. Chuma means the man organ in street language and it’s often used to mean s3xual encounter.
In the skit, the two argue and tell each other what they really mean, with being spread (Kupanuliwa) being thrown around to insist on the messaging of her song, titled 2023.
Using her daring strategy, she has managed to stay on top of mind, even as a few naysayers say, she’s definitely gone over board, factoring the local Gospel music industry is a blanket conservative when it comes to such matters and use of such words.
But it’s what it is, to stay relevant an artist, is pushed to be creative and bold at the same time.
Miss Syokau has managed to achieve this weeks on.
