Nairobi CECM Vesca Kangogo was today named and questioned by the EACC regarding her involvement in a 1bn stadia construction scandal that hit Nairobi county government costing the tax payer millions of shillings.
According to EACC documents, Vesca Kangogo who has been accused to bribery and corruption charges multiple times this time added to her charge sheet alongside Ekaya Alumasi when they illegally and fraudulently awarded a 1bn tender to Scanjet ltd for the construction of a stadia.
This latest development has seen UDA and DP distance them selves from Vesca following the scandal and accusations of bribery,greed,moral bankruptcy and misplaced loyalty.
Vesca and the DP fell out after the handshake when she refused to support him openly in the county government and supported Jubilee to avoid being reprimanded.This broke the DPs heart.
Insiders say that the DP is very disappointed due to Vesca’s misplaced loyalty and is most likely not going to support her gubernatorial bid.
The EACC is further concerned that Vesca Kangogo who is running for governor in Uasingishu county will milk the pockets of Uasingishu residents dry given her history of doing so in the Nairobi county government.
