NACADA Reacts After Stevo Simple Boy Turned Down Champagne And Cigars During Interview

The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) has praised rapper Stevo Simple Boy for setting a positive example after he rejected champagne and cigars offered to him during a recent interview with Noriega Donself.

During the interview, Noriega offered Stevo champagne, suggesting they “pop some” to celebrate.

However, the “Mihadarati” hitmaker firmly declined, stating that he doesn’t partake in such substances.

Instead, Stevo emphasized that drugs and alcohol are harmful to one’s health and mental well-being, reinforcing his message that young people should avoid substance abuse.

“I have champagne and glasses and it’s good we pop some kwa heshima yako,” Noriega suggested during the interview.

In response, Stevo said, “Tulisema vijana tuache mihadarati,” reiterating his advocacy against drug use.

When Noriega then offered a cigar, Stevo once again refused, saying, “Sharubati pekee” (only juice for me).

Following the interview, NACADA lauded Stevo for his stand, taking to social media to acknowledge his efforts in discouraging drug and substance abuse among the youth.

In a statement on Instagram, NACADA expressed their support, saying:
“Vile inafaa. Glorification of drug use by content creators should stop. Drugs are not the only way to act and stay cool. Hapo ulicheza kama wewe @stevosimpleboy8. Au sio?”

The public response has been overwhelmingly positive, with many applauding Stevo Simple Boy for being a role model to the younger generation and standing firm on his principles.
