Akothee was on cloud nine, as she took to the skies with her M-permanent Nelly Oaks.

For Akothee, Nelly Oaks is not just a friend; he’s family. She often expresses that their connection runs deeper than mere friendship. “It’s more than that. Nelly has been there for me all my life. His family and my family are extremely close. When my father sees Nelly, he lights up, tears well in his eyes. The public may speculate about our relationship, but behind closed doors, there’s a lot you don’t see online,” Akothee said, her eyes welling up with emotion.

Their unbreakable bond reminds us of a time when Akothee leaned on her close friend during a dark period in her life, similar to the way she leaned on Mister Omosh before.

Nelly Oaks has been there always for Madam Boss in good and bad times.

“He saved me from drowning in a bathtub at the Weston Hotel. I was going through a terrible time, deeply depressed, and Nelly was the only one who stood by me. During my lowest moments, while battling with my baby daddies, I even contemplated suicide. It was the darkest period of my life. No one was there to help me pull through, except Nelly Oaks,” she narrated a while back.

Akothee, usually known for her strength, also allowed herself to be vulnerable as she held back tears and reflected on her challenging days in Europe when she fought for her children’s rights.

“Nelson witnessed me being thrown out of Switzerland; he saw me battling two foreigners in the heart of Europe. My relationship with Nelson goes beyond just a dance. It has nothing to do with anything romantic,” she emphasized.

AkotheeAkothee also disclosed a touching moment when she was admitted to Karen Hospital. Nelly Oaks stood by her side, sleeping in the hospital wards right next to her. He even wore a patient’s uniform to spend the nights with her.

“He inspected every medication administered to me. If it weren’t for Nelson, I might not be here today,” she confessed.

Taking to social media, Akothee couldn’t contain her excitement as she prepared to fly with Nelly Oaks. She shared her joy with her followers, saying, “Today I had the privilege to fly with my lifelong friend, my forever companion, Nelly Oaks!”
