Karen Nyamu revealed she was scouted for Miss Kenya beauty pageant but her dad pulled all the roadblocks.
The UDA-nominated senator reminisced about her dream of being a model on October 17, 2023.
In a post on social media, Karen Nyamu said she was scouted for the Miss Kenya beauty contest due to her physical attributes.
She claimed that many people believed she could win the Miss Kenya beauty pageant.
Karen Nyamu enrolled in modeling lessons, where she learned the art of walking and controlling her lower body movements.
However, her dreams of pursuing a career in modeling were abruptly shattered when her father intervened.
The mother of three noted that her father gave her an ultimatum – to either pursue law or modeling.
In the end, Karen Nyamu had no choice but to prioritise her law studies, and put a halt to her modeling aspirations.
“When in Law school i was scouted for miss Kenya beauty contest. Because of my height and bust waist hips cordinates, @chriskirwa and team were convinced they had found that year’s winner. I took some modeling lessons where i learnt to walk as i twist my hips like this Eventually Mr Nyamu told me to choose between school and nonsense😆 Mboka ikazima hivo 😆,” Karen Nyamu wrote.
“Dad won 🙌😀😀😀 But we were right – U would have won 👊👊,” Chris Kirwa commented on Karen Nyamu’s post.
