Mulamwah picked up beef with Ezekiel Mutua after he called out the former moral cop over unfulfilled promises at KFCB.
Sometime last year the comedian criticized Mutua for failing Kenyan creatives when he was still serving as Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO.
“Hello sir, Ezekiel Mutua, it’s almost a year since your promise, did you mean it or you were just tweeting for the moment, or am I “inaccessible”?. If the GVT cannot help us as a youth, then please don’t instill false hope in us, it’s better you leave us to suffer in peace,” Mulamwah tweeted.
The former moral cop and the comedian exchanged harsh words on Twitter marking the beginning of their beef.
Mutua responded to the comedian’s tweet by saying that after a background check Mulamwah did not fit the criteria for clean content ambassador.
Fast forward to June 2022, the comedian and the the now Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) CEO have decided to end their beef.
The two met at a function and made amends, Mutua sent Mulamwah Ksh20,000 on Mpesa after which the comedian announced end of all hostilities.
“Yesterday we met with Dr Ezekiel Mutua , we spoke and Squared our differences. We are now best pals . Hatchet buried . Looking forward to working with MCSK in the near future as promised. Asante bro ?,” Mulamwah wrote.
