Vera Sidika underwent Ksh2 million breast augmentation surgery in US to enlarge her boobs. She is breastfeeding her baby with the same titties which have silicone implants.
The lactating socialite first revealed that she underwent the boob job in Beverly Hills in California during a 2018 interview with Tanzania’s Kwanza TV.
She shed more light on her breast augmentation surgery during an interview with Jalang’o in September 2020.
Vera explained that she went for the boobs implants in her quest to make her body proportional, because she used to be thick with a flat chest.
“I wasn’t proportional…I used to be thick but not proportional so I just decided to be proportional and added mu Boobs and I at least don’t wear bras anymore…. It cost me $20000 (Sh.2 million). I got it done in Beverly Hills. They are actually good…. Because they don’t interfere with your breasts as you can still breastfeed. The Breast has like a ka-pocket that is empty, so they normally put the implant in that pocket, so it doesn’t interfere with anything in your breasts” shared Vera Sidika.
Vera has since raised concerns that she could expose her daughter Asia Brown to cancer after she shared a photo of herself breastfeeding her baby with her boobs which have the silicone implants.
“I’m always Breastfeeding ?? 95% of the time ??♀️ she sucks me dry! Aki My baby @princess_asiabrown is such a diva ?? she knows how to pose for the camera ? always looking right into it ?,” wrote Vera Sidika.
US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has identified a possible association between breast implants and the development of anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL), an uncommon cancer of the immune system. The condition is now known as breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL) [sic]
However, Vera has always maintained that the silicone implants in her breasts doesn’t pose any health risk to her child.
“Wale wa; what will her baby feed on since she got her boob surgery done. She can’t breastfeed Blah! Blah!
“You have seen some very healthy nutritious milk coming out of my boobs. Hope y’all; learnt something. So yes I had a breast surgery and I can healthily breastfeed.
“In fact, after having more kids I’m going for another boob surgery. I need by boobs rounder and fuller once I’m done having kids,” wrote Vera Sidika in November 2021.
