Irene Nekesa is starting from scratch after leaving Diana Marua and Bahati’s mansion as a house help.
Things are however not rosy on her side as she has been forced to begin from an empty house with only a few personal belongings.
Her house has no bed or furniture and she has come out to seek fans to furnish it. She also called upon advertisers to consider her for influencing jobs.
“This house has no seat, bed, mattress. I am requesting furniture sellers to partner with an influencer like me so that I can get you clients and they contribute furniture to my house. I will also attach my number so that anyone who is willing can buy for me anything that I don’t have in the house.
“This video will touch someone, that’s my request. If you love me, do something, help Mama yao where you can. You will see how my house looks like and you will pity me,” she said.
Irene further revealed that she has been forced to send her son to her rural home because of the situation at the hand.
The move has sparked mixed reactions among Kenyans, some criticizing her move to beg on social media.
“Umeanza tabia mbaya ya kuomba, stop,” read a comment.
“Slow down mama yao. Watu tunaishi kwa vibanda siku ikifika utakuwa na kitu unadesire,” read a separate comment.
Another netizen came to her defense saying, “Kila mtu anarushia Irene mawe vile anaombaomba. Are you sure alikuwa analipwa hio 100k. This house managers huficha vituvingi sana kwa hizi manyumba.”
Irene’s move to part with the Bahati’s after 7 years however caused a buzz on social media. She was forced to come out and clarify that she left because she had grown. This is due to the fact that she had amassed a great following on social media.
“It is not that we have separated it’s just that it reached a point they said I have grown and I should go find my life and be dependent and even help other people just like they have helped me. Si ati tumeachana vibaya,” she said.
