Classic 105 Radio presenter Mike Mondo and his fiancee Shiko Nguru have officially gotten married.
Mike confirmed that their union was formalised during the morning radio show with King’angi.
“I made you a promise when I told you before 2024 ends, I am going to get married. So it was done. We did very nicely went to the AG, officiated it after that we went for a nice lunch at Sankara,” Mike said.
Churchill congratulated Mike for the step, saying that it was a nice thing and that he was very happy for him.
Mike added that he was going to engrave the ring.
Since Mike and Shiko’s relationship was made public, they have been subjected to public scrutiny.
They both have children from their previous relationships.
In May this year on their podcast, Mike admitted that he previously stayed in a toxic relationship because of his children.
“The scariest part about my previous relationship is the fact that I had the capability of taking up my own life just as a solution to everything that was happening in my life. My only worry was my kids. I was like if you jump, who is gonna make sure they have everything they need? That is what made me stop. However, If I did have children then I wonder if I would have stopped, ” he explained to Shiko.
“Also, my biggest fear was if I broke up with this person would I have access to my children? For my firstborn, I didn’t have that fear but for my second born, that was my biggest fear. I also knew the kind of person I was breaking up with,” he added.
