Genge rapper Mejja is dating again even though this time round he has chosen to hide his new lover.
“I’m not dating a celebrity since I want to have a different experience of how their day was,” Mejja said during an interview with YouTuber Makena.
“I have learnt a lesson sana in my past relationships. These days, no posting yet. We have been together for a while now. No pictures, no videos, nothing! I have learnt my lesson,” he added.
The rapper said he only drew trouble when he put his relationships out in the public.
“Once you announce your woman online, that relationship won’t last. Now I decided never to post again, tuskume maisha,” he said.
Asked if his new relationship would lead to marriage, Mejja said he was in no hurry to settle down as he is just taking things slow.
“Right now, we are taking it slow, sina mbio saa hii, by the way,” he said.
Mejja had a nasty breakup with his ex-wife Milly Wairimu.
The two former lovebirds broke up in 2020 and apparently it was a very ugly split.
Milly Wairimu portrayed Mejja as a beast in her post on Instagram in February 2022 while reflecting on their toxic relationship.
She said no human being deserves what Mejja put her through.
In an interview with Tony Mwirigi on TV47 in February 2022, Mejja trashed Milly Wairimu whom he referred to as a devil incarnate.
Asked if there was a possibility of getting back together with Milly, Mejja asked the interviewer not to remind him of the past further likening his ex to the devil.
On May 23 2022, Milly Wairimu wished pain and suffering upon Mejja as he celebrated his 36th birthday.
“Happy birthday idiot I wish you nothing but bad life I mean you have to pay for your wicked ways jibambe,” Milly Wairimu wrote.
Following the experience with Milly, Mejja opted to hide the woman he is currently dating.
Speaking during an interview with Presenter Ali, Mejja revealed that his 5 year marriage with first wife failed when she just packed and left with their kid without even explaining why.
He said his past relationship with his toxic girlfriend Milly also ended because of too much exposure on social media, noting that not everyone on the internet his happy to see couples together.
Mejja went on say that people on social media have evil eyes and that too much exposure online is not good – the reason why he is now hiding his current girlfriend.
