Bongo Flava star Mbosso Khan has dismissed rumours that a feud with fellow musician Zuchu prompted his departure from WCB-Wasafi, the record label owned by superstar Diamond Platnumz.
Speaking to reporters, the 29-year-old singer emphasized that his relationship with Zuchu and other Wasafi artists remains strong.
“It doesn’t sound good when people say I don’t have a good rapport with Zuchu or any WCB-Wasafi artist. I’m among the few artists who connect, socialize, and appreciate others’ work,” Mbosso said.
Mbosso clarified that his exit was peaceful and unrelated to internal disputes.

“When I was unwell, both Zuchu and Diamond visited me—even after I had left the label. That speaks volumes about the bond we share,” he added.
Despite parting ways with WCB-Wasafi in January 2025 after over five years, Mbosso maintains close ties with the team, including playing for the label’s football club.
Addressing questions about his next steps, the artist revealed he isn’t rushing to establish his own label.
“There’s a lot to consider. I don’t want to sign artists only to mismanage them and stifle their potential,” he explained.
Mbosso’s departure marks a significant shift in the Wasafi lineup, but the singer insists he remains part of the extended Wasafi family.
