Paula Kajala, the daughter of renown Tanzanian actress Fridah Kajala and Producer P Funk Majani has denied claims of dropping out of school completely.
Netizens have been on her case because she failed to complete her tertiary education and graduate as expected.
In an interview with Clouds Media, Paula said that she will resume her studies a few years later because currently, she is taking care of her toddler with singer Marioo.
“I will continue with my studies later. I am waiting for my daughter to grow,” she said.
She noted that she will manage studying while at the same time taking care of her family. The mother of one said she desires to pursue a course in fashion.
Asked on what she prefers first between marriage and education, Paula said she would rather be married first.
Marioo, who was also present during the interview said that plans are underway to officially formalise their union.
The musician vowed to settle down with Paula because he loves her and is the mother of her child.
“It is a good thing, we are already a family. The marriage issue is something small. It is just a decision that needs to be made and follow the law. We have already done a lot of the basic things so it’s just to say we will tie the knot on a certain date. I will marry her because, first, I love her and secondly she gave me a beautiful child” he said.
He added that they would be having an Islamic wedding, although the matter is still up for discussion as Paula is a Christian.
