Manzi Wa Kibera was rushed to Jaystal Medical Centre when she was unconscious after collapsing in a club where she was partying.
The controversial socialite was admitted at the medical facility where she is currently recuperating at.
Speaking to YouTuber Nicholas Kioko from her hospital bed, Manzi Wa Kibera claimed that she was poisoned at the club where she was partying.
She claims that her champagne was laced with poison and that she immediately started vomiting foam after drinking it.
“Niliwekewa lethal kwa pombe. Lethal in ile dawa ya kupika changaa nikawekewa kwa champagne na unajua hazipelekani na champagne… ndo hii matokeo,” said Manzi Wa Kibera.
However, doctor James Kariuki told Nicholas Kioko that Manzi Wa Kibera suffered from alcohol intoxication.
“When she came she was fairly intoxicated so we are suspecting she had what we call alcohol intoxication, she was drunk,” said Dr Kariuki.
Acute alcohol intoxication is a condition associated with drinking too much alcohol in a short amount of time. It’s also called alcohol poisoning. Alcohol intoxication is serious. It affects your body temperature, breathing, heart rate, and gag reflex. It can also sometimes lead to coma or death. [sic]
