Balenciaga on Wednesday May 11th unveiled a new campaign promoting a series of the roughed up sneakers with an eye-watering price tag.
The French luxury fashion house said only 100 pairs of “extra destroyed” sneakers will be available to buy for $1,850/Ksh214,785.
Meanwhile, the non-limited edition, and less roughed up versions, are being sold on the Balenciaga website for $495/Ksh57,494 and $625/Ksh72,593 depending on the specific style.

Maina Kageni on Thursday announced he has ordered two pairs of Balenciaga destroyed sneakers a day after Eric Omondi caused a stir with his pair of his expensive French luxury shoes.
Maina revealed on his breakfast show on Classic 105 that he has already placed his order for his Balenciaga. It must be for the less roughed up versions, which are being sold on the Balenciaga website for Ksh57,494 and Ksh72,593.
