Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo, who has earned the ‘bad girl’ in the recent days launched her book on October 2, in a high profile event.
The book is titled Rig or get rigged. The event was attended by politicians among other renown figures including Environment CS Aden Duale, Senior Council Martha Karua, Homa Bay governor Gladys Wanga among others.
In the event, Millie did not hold back her bad girl traits as she danced to secular songs including Anguka Nayo.
She then introduced her husband, revealing that he is a church elder, and that is why he did not join in the heated dance.
“Good evening everyone. Let me introduce Honourable Elder Mabona. After all that dance my husband is the Elder of the church. Come come, just say hi. That is why he is not dancing,”the lawmaker said.
Taking the microphone, Mabona addressed the crowd in French.
“I was told that the audience is French so I am trying to speak French,” he said. He then referred to her as “Ma Cherie” before whispering something into her ear and exiting the stage.
Millie was left giggling about the loving nature of her husband.
Mabona hails from Zimbabwe and the two got married in 2006. He has a daughter from a previous relationship.
