Catherine Kamau Angrily Reacts To Suggestions That She Should 'Pave Way For New Faces' 

Catherine Kamau angrily lashed out at local newspaper for writing misleading piece about Ksh500,000 procedure she underwent.

The daily reported that the popular actress underwent surgery to fight obesity, this is what rubbed the mother of two the wrong way.

The procedure Catherine Kamau underwent is called laparoscopic gastric balloon placement – it’s not a surgical procedure.

“Look at these fools misleading people??? I DID NOT HAVE SURGERY!! Which paper and writer is this. Lazy af!” Wrote Catherine Kamau.

Laparoscopic gastric balloon placement is a non-surgical weight loss procedure which involves the insertion of a specialized balloon inside the stomach through the mouth using an endoscope.

It is an endoscopic treatment for obesity that together with a balanced diet and physical activity helps losing weight.

Catherine Kamau updated her fans after undergoing gastric balloon placement at Nairobi Bariatric, she said the procedure costs between Ksh350,000 to Ksh500,000.
