God of Larry Madowo! CNN has appointed the Kenyan journalist for a new role.

The “African Voices Changemakers” program, which will primarily highlight newsmakers throughout the continent, will now be hosted by Larry, according to the CNN website.

Larry has covered a wide range of news items since joining the International network in 2021, including flooding in Nigeria, disparity in coronavirus vaccines, and the August 2022 elections.

The statement continued, “He has also reported from the World Economic Forum in Davos, aired from Expo 2020 in Dubai, and the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He has also hosted news programs from Atlanta.

Larry stated the opportunity is amazing while revealing his new position because he was initially featured on the programme in 2017 in which he discussed his career as a Kenyan journalist.

“Some personal professional news: my role at CNN is expanding. I’m the new host of African Voices Changemakers. I was featured on the show in 2017 so it’s surreal to be taking over Tell me your stories,” he tweeted.

Since it began airing on CNN International more than ten years ago, African Voices has introduced viewers to athletes, artists, entertainers, and other everyday people who are creating a difference in the world, having a positive impact on their communities, and contributing to culture.

CNN International SVP and Global Head of Features Content Ellana Lee celebrated Madowo saying.
