Section of Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) has vowed to boycott Classic FM after tweeps exposed unbelievable things Maina Kageni does.
It all started by a tweep called MissMati (@Kasungwa_) who was concerned about the calls at Classic FM.
“These callers wa Maina and king’ang’i are they legit!???” Miss Mati tweeted.

Miss Mati’s tweet elicited hundreds of responses with tweeps exposing how Classic FM and Maina Kageni lie to listeners.
Maina’s show, well known for highlighting social issues touching mostly on relationships and marriage, allegedly has the same callers every morning, this is according to sampled responses on a tweet by Miss Mati.
KOT exposed how Classic FM comes up with fake stories which are discussed on air just create a buzz.
Alwys misleading for clout. 3/4 of most problem in our society is brewed in radio station with scripted shows.

I think someone once disclosed here how during their internship they would be given airtime and instructed to “call” the studio with those fake stories.. and they would make the calls from within the corridors or staircase. Better stick to @KBCChannel1 Radio news bulletin at 1pm

Radio job is hard. Every presenter must assume there's a listener at the other end & keep going. There's a chance kuna wenye huwa wanajiongelesha in their whole show!

It is called entertainment, just ask yourself why stations flooded themselves with comedians, thespians or artists, just to entertain the larger listeners population and pull them to their programs , so stage managing at it's best .
