Well, Murkomen has since come out to set the record straight about his political future following weeks of speculations that he was on his way out of Ruto’s camp.

The Elgeyo Marakwet made it known that he is still in Ruto’s camp after he showed his support to Nyandarua Senatorial aspirant John Muhia Meth who is vying on UDA ticket.

“Our Party is attracting young and visionary candidates. You made the best decision Bro, “Senator Murkomen tweeted.

On why he has gone silent, Murkomen said that;

“Currently you don’t see me actively engaging in William Ruto’s political meetings or even appearing for TV interviews. There are many politicians in Uhuru’s government, who have been tasked with engaging them.”

“I have been very busy listening to them and welcoming them into Hustler Nation even before they come out publicly on that.”

Murkomen was a very close ally of Ruto and had been very vocal in criticizing those who had a contrary opinion with his bottom-up economic model.

The Elgeyo Marakwet would appear in TV interviews, political rallies and even use social media platforms to passionately defend Ruto and whatever he stood for.
