Kenyan socialite PESH, is back after spending 7 years in jail for drugs trafficking in Ghana.
Before her latest posts, she was last seen on Facebook on 25 July 2015. PESH announced that she was en-route to the West African country for a holiday.
“Thanks to God dreams coming tru…. another holiday for her majesty. #Ghana!” she posted in Facebook.
PESH was reportedly arrested in 2015 in Ghana moments after landing at the airport. It’s believed and alleged that her then boyfriend placed illegal drugs inside her luggage without her knowledge.
The fast rising socialite, reportedly stayed in remand for a whole year before she was sentenced to 6 years in jail in July 2016.
The beautiful and curvaceous model, enjoyed a short stint of fame with several features on entertainment websites.
She would share photos hanging out with Kenyan celebrities at different joints, before the unfortunate happened.
The socialite’s journey to prison was described by a woman named Lydiah Wairimu who went to university with her.
According to Lydiah, she was secretly recruited into the drug trade.
She allegedly fell victim to drug trafficking after being seduced by the prospect of a prosperous life.
Little did the socialite know that she was being used to smuggle drugs around the world when she linked up with a boyfriend who promised her a good life.
Furthermore, according to Lydiah, the man who was using her to traffic drugs had several monikers. With the names she gave authorities, Ghanaian authorities were unable to trace his identity.
“..she didn’t know she was being used by the naija men to transport drugs. So innocently she arrived@ Ghana airport bag kaenda checking kawaida. ikapatikana drugs worth 30M Ksh…next day…kuhonjiwa where she came from,who sent her, their phone numbers, everything was fake, hawangepatikana,” Lydiah Wairimu claimed.
Two Facebook accounts that were associated with her have new posts shared, a few days ago.
Most of them, with positive vibes and self motivation messages.
Time has moved past her youthful years and the then young out going lady now looks matured.
Sure to say, painful and bitter lessons have been learnt.
