Catherine Kamau alias Kate actress has brushed off allegations of riding on tax payers money in her recent trip to US, where she accompanied President William Ruto for a tour that kicked off earlier this week.
This is after an Instagram user urged her to enjoy the money while it lasts.
“Continue enjoying tax payers monies. It’s sweet as shortly as it shortly sits. Next stop should be Maka,” the netizen, identified as Roza Kibui, commented on the photos that Kate had shared during a luncheon at the Tyler Perry’s studios. 
Responding to the comment, Kate said that she fully sponsored the trip, insisting that she was investing in her brand
“Roza Kibui, your thinking is so limited woiye. Some of us don’t need government funds to thrive, this trip is fully self sponsored. This is me investing in my brand and minding my business. You should try,” Kate advised.
“Before you ignorantly come to comment under my recent posts kindly note; my invitation was courtesy of the @usembassasynairobi (and) this trip is fully self-sponsored just in case you thought my brand is beans. Breathe beloved, I am just getting started,” the mother of two further wrote.
