Karen Nyamu has stirred up talk on social media for her decision to ignore the birthday of her baby daddy Mugithi singer Samuel Muchoki, better known as Samidoh.
The celebrated singer turned 34 on November 1, but Karen Nyamu appeared to forgo any public acknowledgment of his special day.
Many were surprised by the snub, especially as last year, Nyamu threw an elaborate football-themed party in Samidoh’s honor when he turned 33.
This time round, Karen Nyamu dedicated her attention to someone else: her personal assistant, Larry Enos Kisiangani, who coincidentally shared a birthday with the musician.
In a post on her Instagram stories, Nyamu penned a heartfelt message for Kisiangani, lauding his dedication.
“Happy birthday to my PA @larry.enos, the young man who coordinates all my affairs from work to home and family. This one knows me too much guys,” she wrote with a touch of humor, adding, “Chapa works kijana. Tunaenda mbali sanaaa.”
The celebration was reciprocated by Kisiangani, who reposted her message with a caption expressing his gratitude: “Forever grateful for the opportunity ya kuwa Mkarabati. Mbele iko sawa sawa bossy ✅️.”
The senator’s apparent disregard for Samidoh’s milestone birthday has only fueled rumors of a possible rift between the two, who have not been seen together publicly for months.
Many speculate that the couple may have quietly ended their relationship.
Adding fuel to the fire, Samidoh has recently been seen frequently with his wife, Edday Nderitu, with whom he had a turbulent relationship due to his previous infidelity with Nyamu.
Unlike Karen Nyamu who ignored Samidoh on his 34th birthday, Edday poured out her heart to her husband as he turned a year older.
While wishing him a happy birthday, Edday took to social media and posted a photo of Samidoh lifting her up as they embraced each other.
“Happy Birthday to my friend, partner, and the amazing father to our kids. Your presence means so much, and we’re grateful for every moment shared. May you be blessed with many more years of health, happiness, and love. Here’s to a long, fulfilling life ahead!” Edday wrote.
