Karen Nyamu will always be in the news for her romantic relationship with Samidoh, a popular Kenyan musician.
In 2022, a video emerged on social media showing Samidoh and Karen in an argument abroad, that almost resulted to her stripping off the nominated senator role.
Edday and Karen almost fought during the singer’s show.
After months of dating secretly, Karen refused to be hidden like bhang. Samidoh was pushed to publicly acknowledge that he had a romantic relationship with Karen and apologized to his wife and family for his actions.
The news was met with mixed reactions from Kenyans on social media, with some expressing their support for Samidoh and others criticizing him for being unfaithful to his wife.
Karen Nyamu also confirmed the relationship but claimed that they were no longer together at the time.
Edday revealed the pain she has endured in her last 15 years.
“It has been exactly 15 years of marriage full of ups and down, it was humble beginning where little was enough for us, for the last 3 years it has been nothing but pain, I have remained faithful to you regardless of disrespect,humiliation and being trolled on social media ,you’ve made me look dumb and took my silence for granted!” she says.
Additionally, Eddy reveals she has been of impact in the singer’s life.
“I have helped you nature your talent and supported you through it all, but one thing I have said to you and I am saying here again I will not raise my kids in a polygamy family, especially with a woman who is older than me by more than 10 years ,has no morals and zero respect to my family ’kiura Kia ngaba’ as you put it!”
“I have asked God every day to give me strength to pray for you but today I have nothing to tell God about you, you have drag and put me and my kids in an ocean of pain may you remember this day.#nothingbutprayers #eddaynderitu!” Edday said.
Karen says, as a woman, she also has the right to Samidoh, same to their children.
