Karen Nyamu after a fan said, “Pastor alisema hakuna mwizi wa bwana na wa benki. Wote ni wezi!” had to say something to the often comment on her posts.
Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has been a subject of intense public scrutiny and criticism for her romantic relationship with singer Samuel Muchoki, popularly known as Samidoh. Despite being together for several years and having two children, their relationship has been a source of controversy.
While the couple has openly displayed their affection for each other, it’s evident that not everyone shares in their happiness.
Critics have not been shy about expressing their disapproval, often accusing Karen Nyamu of being a “mwizi wa bwana,” which translates to a husband thief, after she found herself in the warm arms of Samidoh, who was already married. Karen claimed she was not aware that the policeman-cum singer was already married when they began dating and messing with each other.
A Facebook user by the name of Ptah Petta Peesh made a comment equating those who steal other people’s husbands to bank robbers and all are thieves regardless.
Ptah said, “By the way, pastor alisema hakuna mwizi wa bwana na wa benki. Wote ni wezi” (“By the way, the pastor said there are no husband thieves or bank robbers. All are thieves”).
In a sarcastic and witty response, Karen Nyamu replied asking, “Sisi tunashikwa lini?” (“When will we be arrested?”).
Karen Nyamu and Samidoh’s relationship has faced its fair share of challenges, including public scrutiny and judgment. However, the couple has chosen to focus on their love and family, weathering the storm of criticism that often accompanies their relationship, especially after Edday claimed she had to relocated to the USA, for the sake of her children and hers, mentally.
