Kamene Goro’s Next Move After Leaving Radio Africa’s Kiss FM

Kamene Goro finally left Radio Africa’s Kiss FM, where she has been hosting the breakfast show since 2019.

After completing her last show on Friday show, she had a press briefing with digital media journalists where she touched slightly on what her next move is after leaving radio.

Kamene said that she plans to launch a number of things and also work on her brand. She promised to give the full details about her plans on Monday.

“It has been a journey. There are many things coming. I don’t want people to think that it is the last they will hear of Kamene. If anything on Monday you will hear something from me,” she said.

Kamene also said that Kenyans should expect to hear her in a different station. She however said that she will join radio again after finishing her personal projects. Aside from that, she wants to live her life to the fullest since being on radio was so demanding.

“It is possible that you will get me on another station but there are other things that I will be launching that you would see next week. They are very exciting, will help a whole lot of people. There are various avenues that I want to pursue for myself.

“I will get back on radio maybe after I finish what I need to do for my brand. I want to focus on the things I want to do for myself before getting back on radio. Also just a holiday, rest, I am tired. I just want to live, go to the beach, see Mt. Kenya, wake up at 9.30 am,” the radio presenter said.

Kamene further said that she was not fired from Kiss FM as it had been widely speculated.

“I was not fired. My contract was up at the end of this month. There was no need to move forward with it. I have no problem with anybody,” she said.
