Kamene Goro made the worst mistake ever when she ditched her TV career to get married in the neighboring country.
She quit her job at Ebru TV back in 2014 and moved to Tanzania to get married to the man of her dreams. It’s a decision she still regrets to date.
In April 2022, Kamene reflected on her failed marriage to her Tanzanian ex-husband while speaking on Kiss FM with her co-host Obinna.
She stressed how she regretted her decision to marry the Tanzanian who was a serial skirt chaser.
Kamene Goro said giving up her career to get married was the mistake she regrets the most in her life. She noted that she felt like she could have achieved so much had she not given up her career to settle in the marriage.
“I have been through one/two heartbreaks. I cried for two days before I prayed about it. God helped me through it. I wouldn’t be here if it was not for him. I was crying because of the time I had wasted. I cut my career shot for 3 and a half years. Do you know how many things I could have done?” Kamene lamented.
Kamene had also opened up about how toxic her failed marriage was in past interviews. She narrated how her ex husband was a womanizer and how her mother-in-law frustrated her.
“If I left my ex-husband the first time I knew he cheated that would have been two weeks after I started living in with him,” said Kamene while speaking on Kiss FM with her former co-host Jalang’o.
Well, Kamene has now gotten a second chance to polish her TV career. She will be hosting a show on Kiss TV which is relaunching.
“Did not imagine that I would be back on Tv, it has been like 6 years or something but trust Radio Africa to be the one to bring me back in, I am super excited for this. We also ensure that we keep the good vibes going because that is all what Kiss TV is all about,” Kamene Goro said during the re-launch of Kiss TV.
She will be hosting new show dubbed ‘Good Vibes Only’ which which will air every Saturday on Kiss TV.
