Gospel singer Justina Syokau complained that men she dated leave soon after harvesting her.
The single mother of one has been not lucky when it comes to love as she has failed to get a serious man to settle down with.
Speaking during an interview with Mungai Eve, Justina said that most men usually flee when they learn that she is a mother of an 11-year-old boy.
“Mi nina mtoto mmoja na nina miaka kumi hapa nje pekee yangu. Unakuta tukipatana na watu pale nje watu wanakataa mtoto tu mmoja,” she said.
According to Justina Syokau, she has been rejected many times because she has a child.
The gospel singer lamented that men lose appetite on finding out that she has a son, saying that she will be a burden to them.
“Nimekataliwa mara mingi. Wakati unaambia mwanaume uko na mtoto anaona ni burden. Unakuta alikuwa na appetite ya kuwa na wewe, alikua na mpango anataka kukuoa. The moment unamwambia wewe ni single mother uko na mtoto unaona ameboeka,” she said.
The singer added that some single mothers just found themselves having kids without getting married.
“So kuwa na mtoto si kuwa na maisha mabaya. At least mimi nilikuwa nimeolewa. Kuna wasichana mtu alipata mimba class eight na amesoma hadi university, huwezi kataa msichana yule juu hajaolewa,” she said.
Justina revealed that she loves Akothee because she is hardworking when she was a single mother.
“She has been president of single mothers na mimi ni single mother. Anaeza kuwa hajaokoka lakini Akothee nampenda juu ako na bidii,” she said.
