Joyce Omondi and Waihiga Mwaura just like Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdalla work for the same employer which to many people is quite challenging.
The gospel singer opened up about working with her husband at Citizen TV while speaking during an interview with YouTuber Nicholas Kioko.
“You know we don’t even bump into each other that much because he’s in mostly during the week and I only go in on Sundays. He’s in a different department, he also leads a department at Citizen and I am under production so we never even meet at work contrary to what most people think,” she said.
The Citizen TV presenter also opened up about her marriage saying that she keeps it strictly private because she only made her vows to her husband alone.
“For me, my marriage to him is something very special, it’s a covenant that I have with him and God and I want to treasure it and I did not make my vows to everybody, it’s something that I guard and treasure that way,” she said.
Waihiga and Joyce tied the knot on December 18, 2015, in a colorful wedding ceremony at Sawela Lodge in Naivasha.
