Nigerian actress Sarah Martins has sparked controversy with her comments on Baltasar Engonga, the embattled Director General of Equatorial Guinea’s National Financial Investigation Agency.
Engonga has become the subject of intense scrutiny after a leaked tape revealed him in explicit encounters with over 400 women, including the sister of Equatorial Guinea’s President and multiple high-profile government figures.
Reacting to the scandal, which has been circulating widely on social media, Sarah Martins expressed her opinion on the matter.
The actress, who implied she had seen portions of the leaked footage, made waves by suggesting that Engonga’s allure in the bedroom made him an ideal man in the eyes of many women.
“Jokes aside, that Equatorial Guinea guy is every woman’s dream man,” she posted.
“The man is so skilled, very soft. He is very much in charge in bed, top-notch energy, understands every mood, plays Naija songs on every. Omo he’s a full spec make we no lie,” she added, unabashedly listing his supposed charms.
In her assessment, Sarah Martins went on to describe how some women were allegedly drawn to Engonga voluntarily, while others may have felt compelled due to their husbands’ compromised positions.
“Some women willingly gave themselves to him for exploitation while some women were given to him as settlement to wipe off their husbands bad record from system. Man’s so hot,” she said.
Her comments have only added to the uproar surrounding Engonga, with the scandal remaining a hot topic across social media and sparking intense discussions about power dynamics and public morality.
A sex video of Engonga’s wife leaked online days ago further adding a new twist to the scandal which has put Equatorial Guinea at the center of global conversations.
