During an explosive visit to the Iko Nini podcast, Jalang’o didn’t hold back in revealing that the icons of Classic 105 FM, Maina Kageni and Daniel Ndambuki, aka King’ang’i, are allegedly raking in a staggering Ksh2 to Ksh3 million each month. That’s right, folks—radio royalty living the high life!
Jalang’o had some serious insights about Kageni’s earnings, noting that his show brings in a massive Ksh10 million each day thanks to non-stop advertising.
He mused, “When Maina goes on air, there is a commercial on every break. Everything is sponsored. He makes the station around Ksh10 million in a day. Why not give him Ksh3 million because if he leaves, the money won’t be as good?”
But it doesn’t stop there! Jalang’o also threw kudos to other top-notch presenters like Gidi Gidi and Ghost Mulee, who are presumably enjoying the fruits of their labor as well.
He pointed out Gidi Gidi’s luxurious lifestyle, featuring an impressive estate upcountry and a posh pad in the upscale Karen neighborhood, as a testament to the kind of bank these presenters are pulling in.
Jalang’o is adamant that the hefty paychecks these media moguls take home are a direct reward for their tireless work and dedication in the cutthroat world of radio.
