Jaguar Says He’ll Quit Music If Akothee And Harmonize Are Richer Than Him

Jaguar is the richest musician in Kenya and East Africa, if not all of Africa.

Jaguar Kanyii, also known as CAS Charles Njagua Kanyi, is known for hit songs, including “Kigeugeu,” “Nimetoka Mbali,” and “One Centimeter!”

On August 9, 2017, Jaguar Kanyii won the Starehe Constituency parliamentary seat in Nairobi on a Jubilee Party ticket, defeating his opponents Steve Mbogo, Boniface Mwangi, and Mwaniki Kwenya. He was elected to serve as the Member of Parliament for the constituency.

In April 2017, the Kenyan politician emerged victorious in a fiercely contested Jubilee Party nomination race, defeating the incumbent Starehe Member of Parliament, Hon. Maina Kamanda, to secure the party’s ticket.

Apart from his political pursuits, the “Kigeugeu” hit singer has returned to making music.

The musician announced the release of his latest work on his official social media pages, a collaboration with Wasafi Records’ signee, Lava Lava.

While speaking on the committee set up to assist in supporting legend Mustafa aka Loboko, Jaguar told bloggers that the latest news of the richest musicians is a joke. He insists, there’s no way, Akothee and Harmonize can be loaded than him.

If it happens that indeed the two are, he’ll quit music and probably resign as CAS, a position he was nominated to recently by President Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government.

Jaguar is known for his flamboyant lifestyle and a fleet of super expensive rides.
