“It’s A New Dawn” P-Unit’s Frasha Says As He Officially Quits Music After 23 Years

Singer Frasha, who was a member of the now defunct  P-Unit, has announced that he will be officially quitting music on Thursday February, 23.

Frasha (real name  Francis Amisi) made the revelation on his Instagram account saying that he will have his last public show on Thursday, whereby he will be also celebrating his birthday.

“23 is a magical number for me , 2023 is a magical year for me and 23rd is when I bid the game goodbye officially. Thursday 23rd 2023 will be my last public show and also my birthday party .Come join me as I give the last bow and celebrate my musical career. Its a new dawn. Making moves 2023,” the musician wrote.

Frasha did not delve into details of why he was taking the step but his fans were left disappointed.

Frasha, Bon- eye and Gabu formed P-Unit hip hop group and are  famous for songs such as Kare, Si Lazima and Hapa Kule which were all released in 2010.

Members however went separate ways in early 2015, leading to the disbandment of the group.

“Some of us have been taking care of our families and also learning. We are better than we were and we have more content. We did not break up as a group but instead, we decided to take a break from the industry. This has helped each member of P-Unit to grow and also get new ideas that we are now going to instill in our future work,” the trio shared in a previous interview.
