After winning the elections in 2013, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy, William Ruto reportedly flew to the Kenyan Coast to unwind their victory contentious elections.
The two top leaders are said to have booked one hotel in Kwale county for their holiday. They went for one of the best facilities not only on the Coast but in Kenya as a whole.
The president and his deputy are said to have booked a space at Almanara Resort – a five-star hotel is known for hosting some of the wealthiest politicians, business people, and celebrities.
In July 2010, AS Roma head coach Jose Mourinho and his family are also said to spend three weeks at the resort.
The resort has six villas, a private haven, and a sizeable presidential suit. Its villas feature three ensuite double bedrooms, start-of-the-art furniture, and open-plan dining.

Complete with personal chef and maid services, this all-inclusive resort provides guests with the chance to enjoy 7-star luxury while experiencing the genuine cultures of Africa,” porini.com described the report.
Spending a night at the resort can cost between Ksh24,000 to Ksh75,000.
