Morara Kebaso has claimed that the National Intelligence Service placed a spy on his team, who informs them on his movements.
The Inject party leader noted that Kenyans were not wrong to speculate on his Embu accident.
“The NIS placed a mole a long time ago. I have a mole in my team. When I encountered an accident in Embu, I stopped my team and Kenyans from speculating but later I realized Kenyans were not wrong to be paranoid,” he said in video shared on X.
According to him, the car that caused the accident is owned by a company and the driver is still missing to date. Attempts to establish the driver’s identity have hit a dead end while the car is still stuck at Mukurwe-Ini police station.
Secondly, when the police went to arrest him, they went straight to his office without asking around as if they had the plan and layout of the office.
“Somebody was called and asked if the boss was around so that person called DCI. When DCI came to this office for my arrest, they didn’t guess. This compound is so big with so many offices but they didn’t look for my office,” Morara said.
The professional lawyer added that when bad things happen to him, the mole is usually not present.
“This person is a very close person in my team, na kama naenda Bomas, he should have been there. Why was he missing and his residence is close to Bomas. Why did he go to the office and yet I was not there,” he wondered.
“There has been an attempt to poison my food and am thankful to God that it didn’t happen,” the activist said adding that had he not found out about the mole early now maybe he wouldn’t be existing
Kebaso says he has upgraded his security now and advanced on intelligence matters.
