Media personality Annitah Raey insists that walking out of her marriage was the best decision she has ever made.
The mother of one has been celebrating her divorce anniversary every year.
On November 15, 2022, Raey took to social media to celebrate her 11th divorce anniversary.
“On 15th November 2011, I walked away from the best and the worst that happened to me – marriage. It was on a Tuesday and today brings back all the freaking memories. Lord I was lost, hurt and angry. But today the peace weeeehh,” she wrote in part.
Raey further insisted that the 11 years she has been divorce was just a healing process for her.
However, she noted that starting next year she would not be celebrating her divorce but rather love.
“11 years of no serious commitment. 11 years of healing, learning and growth. 11 years of understanding that he was such an important part of my life because without him I wouldn’t have grown this. 11 years of learning he was just a season with a reason which am forever grateful for. I am so grateful for the lesson I have learned. So grateful. This will be my last year celebrating divorce. Next year we celebrate love,” she wrote.
