Teenage sensation Trio Mio is a hotcake ever since he performed to a mammoth crowd during Raila Odinga’s Azimio La Umoja mega rally at Kasarani stadium on December 10th.
Mio has revealed that he just doesn’t jump into studio with every tom dick and harry to record a song – no no no, he is quite choosy on who he works with for a collabo.
“It’s all about good content if the artiste has good content I jump on it. If I see I will benefit by being in the collabo I join but I just don’t do collabo’s with just anyone,” Trio Mio said during an interview with Mpasho.
He further added that;
“If someone brings me music which I feel is not of good standard I tell them to go and rectify it. Some people approach me to do a collabo yet they have never been in a studio. I prefer someone who has been in the studio and they know what sound or genre they are doing. I love someone who has shown his potential to the people.”
Trio Mio explained that he is very choosy on who he works with for a collabo because he also had to prove himself to get to where he is now.
“I also had to show people my potential. I am doing this as business so don’t do it for fun. If I feel there is something missing I add it and make it a hit.”
Trio Mio, whose real name is real name Mario Kasela, is still a student in high school even though he has managed to have a breakthrough in the Kenyan music scene.
