“I Don’t Expect His Calls Or Support” David Wonder Speaks On His Bitter Fall Out With Bahati

Gospel Singer David Wonder and Mr Seed were signed under Bahati’s label EMB records some years back.

Their association with Bahati saw them cement their name in the music industry.

The two however exited the label after falling out with Bahati and later accused him of owing them money.

In 2019, Bahati however denied owing the duo claiming that they are the ones who owed him Kshs6 million.

According to Bahati, Mr Seed and David Wonder accused him of owing them money just to trend.

“Sijawahi ongea hii kitu somewhere else but nadai hawa vijana more than Sh6 million, that’s why they created a story to trend, but time will tell, where are they?” Bahati said in an interview.

Speaking to Nairobi News, David Wonder has however said that he doesn’t owe Bahati anything, and neither does Bahati owes him.

According to him they were not friends and he just respects him as his boss.

“One thing about me is that I always tell the truth and Bahati was never my friend. Bahati was my boss and to this day I still respect him, not as a friend but as a person who was my boss, a leader at some point in my life. Other than that we don’t owe each other or expect anything from each other given the circumstances” he said.

He admitted that he didn’t part with Bahati amicable and therefore when he fell sick, he did not expect him to be there for him.

“I didn’t expect him to come through for me in any way. The fact is that we did not part on good terms.
Someone like Mr Seed, he was there. But with Bahati, even before I got sick, he didn’t call, so I didn’t expect any calls or support from him. I was not entitled to any support,” David Wonder said.
