Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa has come out to defend the sexuality of comedian-cum-politician Jasper Muthomi aka MC Jessy.
MC Jessy came under scathing attack when he shared a photo of himself wearing a skirt amid the ongoing debate on homosexuality which has been occasioned by the death of LGBTQ+ model and activist Edwin Chiloba.
“Wale mnajua sana. Hii bag ni ya nini?” MC Jessy teased his fans which captioning a photo he was seen rocking a skirt.

The photo was widely circulated on different social media platforms as netizens trolled MC Jessy for allegedly being gay.
However, Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa came out to assure netizens that Jessy was not a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
The lawmaker explained that the skirt the comedian was wearing was part of Scottish traditional attire which is typically worn by men and does not define one’s sexuality.
“Wadau hii haijaenda. This dress code is a traditional dress code in Scotland for men. It’s won during important days similar to huduma day in Kenya. I can confirm that MC Jessy (Jessy Jasper) is not a member of LQBTQ ama inaitwaje…ile ya kugeuzana,” Didmus Barasa tweeted.
