Diamond Platnumz has been linked to use of witchcraft multiple time, his baby mama Zari Hassan has also been dragged into the allegations.
In November 2019, Diamond Platnumz’s manager Babu Tale shocked the world when he revealed that they sought the services of a witchdoctor to ensure the success of Wasafi Festival.
In 2017, Diamond ex manager Maneno said that he took the singer and other artistes including ex wasafi singer Rich Mavoko and late artist Sam wa Ukweli to seek the services of a witchdoctor in Kigamboni in the Eastern part of Dares Salaam.
Diamond has being linked multiple times to the use of black magic to ensure that his musical career is successful.
Zari Hassan was forced to address witchcraft allegations after being dragged into the black magic scandal involving her baby daddy.
Addressing her fans on social media, Zari stressed that she can never sacrifice her children for wealth.
“I could not sacrifice me children for money I better be poor,” said Zari.
Zari established a romantic relationship with Diamond Platnumz, who is 9 years her junior, sometime in 2014 – a year after divorcing her late husband Ivan Semwanga.
Diamond and Zari dated for about five years and were blessed with two children in the course of their relationship – Latifah Dangote (born on 6th August 2015) and Prince Nillan (born on 6th December 2016).
However, Zari broke up with Diamond for good on 14th February 2018 (Valentine’s Day) after she got tired of his continued infidelity. The Tanzanian heartthrob cheated on Zari multiple times, even siring a kid with Hamisa Mobetto.
