Huddah Monroe has enjoyed unrivaled publicity for nearly 10 years, however she now regrets being famous and wish could go back in time to change everything.
Huddah shot to fame in 2013 when she represented Kenya on Big Brother Africa season eight, also known as Big Brother Africa: The Chase.
The petite socialite together with her nemesis Vera Sidika became Kenya’s most sought-after female celebrities from 2013 onwards.
With fame came money and Huddah enjoyed the trapping of limelight for nearly a decade until now that she is regretting being famous.
The petite socialite expressed her frustrations being famous while reacting to a post by American rapper Cardi B who was also lamenting about being in the spotlight.
“I’m not even going to lie to y’all, being famous is kinda boring,” Cardi B wrote.
Huddah commented on Cardi B’s post saying that celebs keep watching on their back in everything they do.
She also lamented that she can’t do what she wants to do freely as everyone want to know what she is doing.
The Kenyan socialite also added that most people wants to be friends with her to maximize on her fame but not for a genuine reasons.
Huddah also stated that she wished no one knew her as she would have done things differently.
“Very boring! You have to stay watching your back 25-8. And can’t be free to really do what you want. Not to mention 90% of people only wanna be friends to maximize of your fame and never genuine with you. I wish nobody knew me. I’d move different.”
