Huddah Monroe says most celebs in Africa are living fake lifestyles giving netizens pressure on social media.
The petite socialite claims that most celebs in Africa can’t afford to buy revered fashion brands like Balenciaga instead opting for counterfeits.
“No African celeb gives me pressure lool! Coz 99.9% cannot afford a $50,000 Birkin let alone $2000 Balenciaga. Most carry fake bags and live a fake life,” Huddah wrote.
Huddah further notes that most celebs leading fake lifestyles take advantage of the fact that their fans can’t tell the difference between genuine and counterfeits products.
“Only oppressing Africans coz most don’t know real from fake. Y’all be living a lie Monday to Sunday and your followers and likes are the only thing that give you life,” she wrote.
Huddah’s sentiments come after a handful of celebs in Kenya have been arrested and charged in court for defaulting on their bills.
